Our Aims and Objectives:

To enhance the quality of life in Kilkee and its hinterland and to make it a more attractive place to live, work and invest

Realised in practice by the following:

  1. To identify buildings, spaces and features of importance to the history of architecture, culture and character of the town and to emphasise their protection, conservation, improvement and sensitive development.
  2. To promote high standards of architecture and planning, to prevent both ugliness and dereliction due to bad design or neglect, and to encourage constructive participation in planning matters.
  3. To promote public awareness of the good apprearance of Kilkee by inspiring a sense of pride in its history, environment, culture and heritage.
  4. To undertake to run relevant courses, lectures and training and to undertake research to establish a bank of historical material connected in anyway with the town.
  5. To encourage the artistic enhancement of Kilkee by supporting all the arts and crafts and developing the natural talent to be found in the vicinity.
